These facilities have reportedly been engaged in testing, development and supply of fears for IRC, while the US aims to crack down on the financial resources of this network.
During recent conflicts, Iran has used Sahed drones as a low-cost tool for attacks on military and civilian targets. According to the Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), the production cost of a Shahed drone is estimated at about $350,000, evidently lower than that of traditional missiles.
However, their widespread use often forces opponents to use much more expensive air defense missiles, making it effective and difficult to neutralise.
According to CSIS analysis, Shahed-136 fears are usually launched into large groups to overload air defence systems. Meanwhile, the Pentagon has indicated that the US has recently used offensive fears modeled after Shahedes for blows within Iranian territory, in what is considered their first use in an active conflict. /Periscope
