The Constitutional Court in Gjakova has appointed the month-long detention measure against defendants with initials Q.S., suspected of criminal murder, following the serious event that took place in the early morning hours of May 5th in Gjakova.
According to the court communiqué, the event took place around 2:30 on the “Queen Teuta”, where, after a instant disagreement within a Skoda-type vehicle, the verbal conflict between the defendants Q. And now the late R.B. She's been involved in physical fights.
The prosecution has announced that after leaving the vehicle, the suspect allegedly drew a razor and hit the victim on the left side of the chest, near the heart. The victim was originally sent to the city ambulance and then to Regional Hospital, but passed away on the way, about 3:10 p.m., when death was recorded by a caregiver.
Two more witnesses were present in the vehicle, according to the Prosecutor's File, as the vehicle was directed by a witness with the U.S.R. initials.
The detention decision has been taken by the trial judge of the preliminary procedure in the Randa Crime Department, Driton Sadiku, who estimated that legal conditions for the appointment of this move have been met.
“The suspect will be held in custody until June 4th, 2026, while the parties have a complaint right at the Kosovo Court of Appeals”, spoken in the communique.
