Wang said: “We had to run towards the press conference hall where we are currently holding".
In the video she is seen rushing to hide right after hearing the shooting.
Otherwise, American President Donald Trump has reacted after the shooting incident near the White House, where an armed person was killed during the shootout with US Secret Service agents.
In a public statement, Trump thanked the Secret Service and the law enforcement authorities for the prompt and professional response to the attack.
“Thank our excellent Secret Service and Implementation of the Law for Fast and Professional Action to undertake this evening against an armed man near the White House, who had a violent history and perhaps an obsession with the most valuable structure of our country”, Trump wrote on the Social Truth. /Periscope
