Recent reports suggest he is seriously injured and is barely able to communicate.
But the deputy for international affairs in the Supreme Leader's office has made new claims about Khamene for Iran's Fars News Agency.
Moshen Qomi explained how Mojtaba Khamenei survived the attack that killed father and his predecessor, Ali Khamenei, at the beginning of the war, according to international media, citing Fars.
He was in the building at the time, in the same building that was bombed and those inside were martyred. A few minutes earlier, by chance or by divine will, he had gone into the courtyard, and God intended that he be spared”, Qomi declared.
He also insisted that Khamenei is “fully healthy” and is performing his duties. /Periscopi
