Milky Producers Association Requires Returning Milk collection

The Kosovo Milky Producers Association (SHPQK) has expressed concern about the situation created in the milk sector, stressing that farmers are facing difficulties in collecting milk and reducing the purchase price.
Through a statement to the media, the KPS requires that every litre of milk produced in Kosovo be collected and that the collection price be returned to the level prior to recent developments.
“The association estimates that farmers should not be victims of this situation and call for co-operation among farmers, processing industry and institutions”, the report said.
Likewise, the KPS says it supports inspections and law enforcement by responsible institutions, but requires that controls be continued, professional and equal for all.
