Memli Krasniqi visits Kadri Veselin: Waiting for Final Decision and Their Return Home

Former Kosovo Democratic Party Chairman Memli Krasniqi has indicated he has paid another visit to The Hague, where he met with former PDK leader and former Kosovo Assembly Speaker Kadri Veselini.
Through a public post, Krasniqi has said that even after the long years of the trial, Veselin and his fellow fighters continue to preserve dignity, tranquillity and belief in justice.
“Today, another visit to The Hague, to meet President Kadri Wessel. Even after all these long and difficult years, he and his fellow fighters continue to hold up dignity, tranquillity and belief in justice”, Krasniqi wrote.
He has described Weselin as steadfast in his beliefs and with great love for Kosovo, stressing that the long wait and constant postponement of the decision are burdening the whole process.
“As always, strong in his beliefs, with unquenchable love for Kosovo and with great longing for people and his country. This long wait is not easy for anyone, especially when the decision continues to be postponed and the process drags on indefinitely”, says the post.
Krasniqi has reaffirmed confidence in the innocence of former KLA leaders and has demanded that the process end as soon as possible with a fair and undicted decision.
“We are counting the days until their return to where they belong: their homeland, near Kosovo families and people. Until then, you all have greetings from the Mayor and his friends!”, Krasniqi has finished.
