Full response [without interference]:
The Democratic League of Kosovo firmly condemns today's political violence and expresses deep concern over the dangerous climate of hate speech, threats and digital terror that has long been weighing public life and democratic debate in the Republic of Kosovo.
Divided rhetoric, stimulating and deignive that is normalized in public and digital space cannot be treated as ordinary political phenomena. Hate speech produces tension, violates public security, and creates environments where violence risks being viewed as an acceptable tool of political coping. This is unacceptable to a democratic republic.
The Democratic League of Kosovo considers that political differences should always remain within democratic, institutional and civic standards. Our Republic needs political debate, the competition of ideas and visions, not lynching, intimidation or assault on the political opponent.
In that spirit, we invite all political actors, responsible institutions and society as a whole to contribute to preserving a peaceful democratic climate, to respect the culture of public communication, and to the protection of democratic order.
Kosovo needs political maturity, state responsibility and rule of law. Any act of violence, any language of hatred, and any attempt to engage in political orientation must be clearly and unequivocally rejected by all.
