Kurti after meeting with Kos: To advance Kosovo's file on candidate country status, EU support to us is about 90%

Kosovo Government head Albin Kurti, at a media conference with the Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, has called for Kosovo's application for candidate status to be advanced.
Kurti has said it has been 40 months since Kosovo has applied and that it is time for the EU to advance it.
We share common values with bE and are fully listed with EU foreign and security policy. We joined all sanctions against the Russian federation”, Kurti said.
Over 40 months since we have applied and the renewed moment of EU enlargement must result in Kosovo's well-deserved advancement. Public support for the EU, for EU membership, stands at around 90 %s in our country, and is among the highest of all union countries. Finding unity within the EU to make decisions against Kosovo is a common task. It is also required that the EU push this unity forward. The vacuum, which leaves the EU, is intended to be filled by other malicious acts, which endanger our common security”, he added.
