KLAVL: Call it Serbian General “Serbia's man” is a poisonous language, who crosses the border will respond decisively

KLAVL's OVL has reacted through a media report condemning the language Sami Lushtaku says it was used against him by LVV official Hysni Mehani.
According to Lushtak, Mehan called it “Sami Serbia”, whose language it says citizens have then reacted.
The NLA's War Veterans' Organisation strongly condemns the insulting language used against former soldiers and war commanders”, the communique says.
The KLA's OVL says that naming a KLA general as Serbia's <x0 man” is unacceptable and politically poisonous.
“Calling a KLA general “Serbia's man”, those listed for Kosovo freedom, is low, unacceptable and politically poisonous. No party interest, no personal resentment and no rivalry among politicians gives anyone the right to tarnish the liberation war or dishonor men who shed blood on this state”, the potential OVL.
Whatever we are now seeing, a escalating campaign of insults, labels and hatred directed at KLA veterans and their commanders is not democratic debate. It's moral degradation. Public life is damaged, divides and attacks itself on the foundation upon which Kosovo's freedom and sovereignty were forged.
We demand that any political subject and their supporters clearly and immediately distance themselves from such a language. Political differences cannot turn into an attack on the liberation war. Whoever violates this border will face our firm, public and uncompromis” response, the announcement concludes.
