Heavy case in Ferizaj, Prosecution: Initiated case of child murder at birth, suspect is in gynecology

In this regard, the Constitutional Prosecutor at Ferizaj has been declared, from which it has become known that the prosecutor has initiated a case in the direction of the infant's murder at birth, states the Express newspaper.

The alleged in this case is in treatment at Ferizaj's Gynecological Hospital, while, at the order of the State Prosecutor, the infant's lifeless body has been sent to the Institute of Legal Medicine in Pristina (IML). It's a communique.

Ferizaj, 07 May 2026-The Founding Prosecutor at Ferizaj announces the public opinion that the State Prosecutor has been notified by Ferizaj Regional Investigation Sector, over a case of the death of a newborn infant in Ferizaj Hospital Emergency.

Under the decision of the guardian prosecutor, the case has been initiated in the direction of the criminal act “the infant's death during birth” by Article 176 of the Republic of Kosovo Criminal Code.

Suspected in this case is in treatment at the Ferizaj Gynecology Hospital, while, at the order of the State Prosecutor, the infant's lifeless body has been sent to the Institute of Legal Medicine in Pristina (IML).

The founding prosecutor at Ferizaj is taking all necessary investigative actions to whiteen all the random circumstances in question.
