Freedom Berisha has been named ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo to the Kingdom of Thailand, simultaneously Head of the Mission.

According to the presidency, this mission has not been ambassador since 24.06.20, while the MPJD recommendation for Berisha's appointment has been made in 05.06.2024.

Heroina Telaku has been relieved of office after the end of her mandate as ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo in Panama and has been appointed ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo to the Republic of Colombia.

Susan Novobrdaliu has completed the mandate and has returned to the MPJD, while Kenan Tora has instead been appointed after meeting the required criteria, the Presidency says.

The presidency has explained that Vehbi Miftari has been released from duty “following the findings of violations of professional ethics and violation of the integrity and reputation of the diplomatic service”.

Medium has sent questions to Miftari about this reason that the presidency has given him his release from office, and is awaiting the answer.

On the other hand, Enis Xhemajli has been appointed ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo in Panama after the Telaku mandate ends.

Behar Isma has been named General Consul of the Republic of Kosovo in the Federal Republic of Germany, headquartered in Dusseldorf.

These changes were announced after being released from Vehbi Miftari duty, who has been chief of the Kosovo Special Diplomatic Mission at the Holy See.

Haxhiu said days ago that eight new appointments, three dismissals and reshuffles of consular missions have been made in Kosovo's diplomatic services.
