Hashim Thaci with message to politicians: Selfish in Politics Brings Down

Thaci in exclusive interview in “ ” with Arben Ahmeti on Channel 10, has declared that throughout his life he has been ambitious and that he considers this one of the reasons for achieving political goals.

According to him, ambition is necessary not only in politics but also in other areas such as science, media, sports, or business.

He has stressed that ambition should not be confused with careerism, naming them two different concepts.

Thaci has also mentioned his political journey, saying in some cases he has withdrawn from high positions for political and institutional reasons.

He has remembered the years 2001 and 2014, when, despite election victories, he had withdrawn from the prime ministerial post, as well as his resignation from the presidential post in 2020 before being sent to The Hague.

“In politics, not rarely a step back to open new paths, but can also sink you. It depends on how it manages the withdrawal and for what motive it builds the return”, Thaci has said.
