(a month ago)The Kosovo Journalists' Association has indicated that a repeat cut in internet cables has been announced in the building where online portal editorial work is “Paparaci”.
As it says in AGK's response, such a disruption has occurred today, for at least the third time in a short time.
This act has caused serious problems in normal and uncontinent working journalists in this media. The editorials have announced the Kosovo Police since the beginning, and only today have there been investigative teams on the ground”.
The AGK expresses concern about this kind of obstruction of the work of this media and its journalists and sees it as attempts to undermine free reporting.
This association has at once invited the Police and Prosecutors to conduct immediate investigations to identify the person or persons responsible for deliberately cutting the cables.
“These actions are additional pressures in the already heavy environment of journalism. The AGK engages that journalists and media be free and unhindered to do their important job of informing the public”.
