Haradinaj in the AAK Assembly: We believe in Ardian Gjini, Alliance continues its journey

In the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo's 10th Electoral Assembly, where Ardian Djini's election at the party's helm is expected to be formalised, incumbent Mayor Ramush Haradinaj has delivered a speech to delegates, commenting on his political journey and confirming the continuation of his commitment to Kosovo and the Alliance.
Haradinaj has opened the speech, remembering his personal history and commitment to the liberation war, reports Online Economy, broadcast Periscope
From a young age to 31, I have served as a relief service. I have had the honor of being a soldier and commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army, KLA. Thank you, it's KLA, thank you fellow fighters, thank you for the sacrifice we've made for freedom,” he said.
Speaking of the post-war period and its role in politics, Haradinaj also cited the Alliance's leadership and state functions he has held.
The year 2000, by my age 32, I have served Kosovo and the nation as chairman of the Alliance. I have had the honor of being elected deputy in every legislature and elected prime minister twice, with your support. Thank the Alliance for the journey together,” he said.
Haradinaj stressed that he would not back down from political engagement, but that he would continue to contribute in other forms.
From today I will continue to serve Kosovo and the nation as one of you. Kosovo service never ends. For life, the Alliance, for life KLA, for Albanians among generations,” he declared.
He has given direct support to his successor at the party's helm.
Today Mayor Ardian, me and the Alliance believe in you. We believe that you will be our leader, the leader of Kosovo, the leader of our best list. As I have trusted myself in my journey, so I trust Ardian and the Alliance. For life to you Ardian, for life the Alliance,” said Haradinaj.
He has also called on citizens and diaspora for support in political processes.
Kosovo citizens, brothers and sisters in the diaspora, you are our blood and never separate from us. Serve Kosovo, serve by vote for two-thirds for the Alliance's list. I served Kosovo without my candidacy, but I invite you to continue this road,” Haradinaj said. /Periscope/
