Hamza meets with health professionals: Let's say STOP crisis and together change both health and Kosovo

The president and prime ministerial candidate of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Bedri Hamza, has today met hundreds of health professionals from around the country, where he stressed that health will be one of the main priorities of his government.
Hamza said Kosovo is facing a deep economic and social crisis, which is being reflected directly in the health sector, professionals and citizens.
When the health system doesn't function properly, the consequences are not measured solely by statistics. They are measured by the anxiety of families, with long expectations, with the lack of drugs, the fatigue of doctors and nurses, with citizens paying more and more from their own pocket, and with young people leaving the country”, Hamza said.
He stressed that health professionals will be the main partners in transforming the health system and promised investments in modern infrastructure, better salaries, medical equipment, service expansion and better working conditions for staff.
After June 7th, health will be our government's national priority. Not only in question, but in investments, with better salaries, concrete reforms and support for health professionals. Citizens need a system that functions for them”, the leader said PDK.
Hamza said that a state that invests in health invests in the life and security of its citizens.
So, June 7, let's make the difference together. For health professionals. For patients. For our families. For Kosovo that deserves most. Stop the crisis. To restore dignity. Change both health and Kosovo”, he added.
While the candidate for MP The PDK and former Health Minister Uran Ismaili said the public health sector is facing continued degradation and lack of institutional support.
Today, our responsibility is clear: to say STOP to this crisis. STOP health neglect. STOP a system that is straining patients and driving away doctors. And together, on June 7th, let's choose the” change, Ismaili declared.
