The U.S. gave the green light to 14 million worth of weapons, AFA: Americans have always been close to Kosovo

Days ago it became known that the U.S. State Department has notified the US Congress of a proposed license to export defence items, technical data and defence services to Kosovo, worth $14m.
And this has been welcomed by the Association of Albanians for America (Albanians For America), reports Telegraph, broadcast Periscope.
“Another testimony to the continued partnership between the United States of America and Kosovo. The announcement that the US State Department has prosecuted at the US Congress permission to export defence items and military services to Kosovo, worth over $14m, is a clear message of confidence in our state and security institutions.
Presenting the review on the US Senate's Foreign Relations Committee testifies to the institutional seriousness and bipartisan support that Kosovo enjoys in Washington”, says the communique.
In response it is said that from Humvee, ASV, fears and modern defense systems, to support for transforming KSF into professional and worthy army NATO, the US have always been with Kosovo at crucial moments.
“The involvement of the KSF in international missions and preparations for participation in the stabilising force in Gaza are evidence of the increasingly active role of our state in the company of allies.
