Died by Life at 89-year-old former Albanian Parliament Speaker Servet Pelumbi

Albania's former head of the Assembly, Servet Pelumbi, has been separated from life at the age of 89.
Pellumb is one of the founders of the Socialist Party and former head of the Parliament. It has been considered one of the integrityiest figures since the 1990s.
Servet Pellumb was born in Korca, and after the 1990s, he ran into this electoral area. The late man has conducted high studies at the University of Petersburg and has been entitled Literature Science Doctor.
From 1960 to 1963, he has been a professor at the Corca Pedagogic Institute and has thereafter exercised this profession until 1977. Since this year, the politician has been elected a member of the Labour Party Steering Committee, while for nearly three years he has been a professor at the University of Tirana.
Democratic changes in 1990 positioned Servet Pelumbin in the post of deputy head of the SP, which he held until 1996.
He has led the Socialists' campaign to oppose the referendum on the Constitution and then the campaign to release Fatos Nano from prison.
It is known as one of Albania's longest-lived MPs, with active participation in various parliamentary commissions. / T CH
