(2 months ago)The Islamic Community of Kosovo (BIK) has been declared in terms of candidacy for Kosovo MP Osman Musliu on the Vetevendosje Movement list.
BIC official Ramadan Shkodra has confirmed that the directive banning imams from political lists continues to remain in force, while any eventual decision on measures to be taken to the site Osman Musliu will be the competence of BIK's headship.
” Direction is in effect. Will be determined, the power of the Lord of the Throne? When Headship meets, it comes out with an attitude”, Shkodra told RTV21.
Medium had asked BIK whether hoja Osman Musliu is part of this institution and whether there will be disciplinary measures against him, referring to a 2025 note allegedly forbidden “to be candidate on any of the political parties' lists for specific local or central positions”.
