The decision to withdraw troops from Germany, Trump: They're gonna be gone a lot more than 5 grand.

The United States will withdraw “much more than 5,000” troops from Germany, US President Donald Trump said.
Fox News published a video from a Trump statement to reporters, while one of them asked the president: Why is the U.S. withdrawing troops from Germany?”
Trump's response was this: “We will greatly reduce the number, and we are reducing much more than 5,000”.
His statement follows reports yesterday that US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth has ordered the withdrawal of nearly 5,000 troops from Germany within the coming year.
The Pentagon's decision came after Trump announced that the tariffs for cars and trucks from the European Union will increase to 25 per cent next week, accusing the European bloc of not respecting a trade agreement signed last summer.
Germany's Defence Minister, Boris Pistorius, said the withdrawal of American troops was “something expected”, adding that “n, Europeans should take on more responsibility for our security”, through a statement about AFP.
NATO said on Saturday it is “working with the US to understand this Wanshunton decision.
