(a month ago)The Ministry of Industry, Trade, Trade and Innovation (MINTI), through the Central Market Supervision Inspectorate (IQMT) and in co-operation with Food and Veterinary Agency inspectors (AUV), reports it has intensified controls in the milk products market with the aim of protecting consumers and increasing transparency in the market.
A total of 7 inspections in four different Kosovo towns have been conducted under these activities. As a result, 6 cases are currently in procedure, while 1 case has been closed, MINT confirms.
“MINTI recalls all economic operators operating in the field of production, import, distribution and sale of milk products, that they are obliged to respect legal requirements in force, respectively. 06/L-034 for Consumer Protection and Law No. 2004/18 for Internal Trade”, noted in the announcement.
