CEC: tomorrow the lot is drawn to the party rankings in the ballot

The Central Election Commission (KQZ) will tomorrow retain the withdrawal of the lots for determining the ranking of political subjects in the balloting of early elections for the Kosovo Assembly, which will be held on 7 June 2026.
News confirmed for RTK by CEC spokesman Valmir Elezi, who has indicated that the process of drawing lots for the appointment of principal numbers of political subjects is scheduled to take place on May 16th.
The day before, The CEC has held the next meeting, where turnout in the election has been certified and four of the five new political subjects that had applied during the period of May 2/10, 2026. It's about three coalitions and an independent candidate.
Certificate subjects are: Vetevendosje Movement, Koalicija Vacat, United Ashkali, as well as independent candidate Esmir Cassi.
Meanwhile, the CEC has refused the Certificate of two political subjects -- Sloêno Pobejemo (civil initiative) and SDA BAR Stranka Akcije -- after failing to meet the legal criteria of 1,000 signatures required for certificateification.
Following the CEC's recent decisions, a total of 3 coalitions, 17 political parties and 1 independent candidate will take part in the June 7th elections.
The participating coalitions are: LVV, United Ashkali and Koalicija Vacat.
While participating political parties are: Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), KNRP, PSA, Za Slobodu Pravdu Pravdu of Opstanak, Srpska List, Word, Kosovo Roma Progressive Movement, United Roma Party of Kosovo (PREBK), Sociyldecratska Unija (SDU), Jedinvena Goranska Partija, Democratic Kosovo Türrk Partis (KDTP), Nova Democraticska Stranka, Egyptian Liberal Party, New Democratic Initiative of Kosovo <6> and PSD.
The independent candidate in this election is Esmir Cassi. /Periscope/
