CEC Certificates Voting for 3 Coalition Convention

Faithful Buzhala, director of the Office for Recording, Certificate and Financial Control of Political Subjects, said it has certified three political coalitions, one of which is the Vetevendosje Movement.

“Zyra has prepared the recommendation for certificateification and rejection of the political subjects' certificate for early elections for the Kosovo Assembly. From May 2nd to May 10th, the office has accepted a total of three applications for coalition statements by registered political subjects, an application for a civic initiative, and an application for an independent candidate. While between May 1st and May 7th, a total of 18 registered political parties have declared participation in the elections. The number of application subjects for this election is 23. We inform you that the coalition that bears the name Vetevendosje Movement has applied with four registered political subjects, such as: The Vetevendosje Movement, Guxo, Alternative and Albanian Democratic Party. This subject has handed over to the logo office, code of courtesy and political declaration. So has the Vacat coalition, and so has the United Ashkali. So, there are coalitions which consist of registered political parties, just as the Law for General Elections defines. While we have an application from a civic initiative named Slokovo Pobeujemo and an independent candidate named Esmir Cassi. Regarding these applications, the office recommends to the Central Election Commission to certified political subjects as follows: • Coalition Vetevendosje Movement • Coalition by the name of Koalcija Vacat, • Coalition by the name of the United Ashkali • and independent candidate Esmir Cassi”, Buzhala said.

He recommended that the certificate of civic initiative be refused” Slozni is Bedzuma”, since this subject has failed to meet the criteria

“Zyra recommends that the CEC refuse the certificate of the civic initiative by the name of "Slozno is Bedzuma" because this political subject has failed to meet the criteria as defined in paragraph 7 of Article 16 of the General Election Law. During the application, the political subject has offered a total of 1087 physical signatures. Out of these 1087 physical signatures, they were flown into the CEC platform 1015. During contact with supporters of this subject, of this initiative, the negotiating office that several supportive signatories who have been contacted have claimed were not personally signed on the list of supporters. And about 80 other people who have been contacted over the phone at 12 May and 13 May 2026 have no access to the given numbers. Also, the list of signatures, which is a standard form and which is part of the appendix as the appendix of the electoral regulation number4/2024, imposes on political subjects to mark it, besides other data,... mark it for each of its supporters and phone number. In this regard, this political subject, out of 1087 signatories that have offered a total of 576 supporters have not provided telephone numbers. In this regard, the office yesterday on May 13th 2026 has asked 600 additional signatures regarding the data contained in the form, and the political subject has managed to provide only 423 signatures. And in this regard, the office recommends to the CEC that it reject the Certificate of this political subject”, he said.
