(a month ago)British Ambassador to Kosovo Jonathan Hargrees has called for co-operation among political parties following the June 7th elections, stressing the importance of institutional stability in the country.
Through a Facebook post, Ambassador Hargreaves has said that Kosovo's democratic progress depends on co-operation, dialogue and a common commitment to the country's future.
“Ramush Haradinaj has played an important role in Kosovo's political life over many years, contributing to democratic development and the country's institutions. As Kosovo moves towards the elections, it will be important for political parties to engage constructively and work together later to form a stable government and ensure the election of a president on time. Kosovo's democratic progress depends on co-operation, dialogue and a common commitment to the future of the country”, the British diplomat has said.
He has made those statements after a meeting that he has held Tuesday with Alliance for the Future of Kosovo Chairman Ramush Haradinaj.
