One of the biggest planes in the world today landed at Pristina Airport.
A rare moment has been marked today at Pristina International Airport “Adem Jashari”, where the giant aircraft Antonov An 24 “Ruslan”, one of the largest active aircraft in the world, landed. The images of the plane were published by photographs of Arian Mavriqi.
This plane, produced by Antonov in Ukraine, is designed for transport of extremely heavy and huge cargo, including tanks, helicopters, turbines and even locomotives.
With about 69m long, wing openings of some 73m and charge capacity of up to 150 tonnes, An-124 is considered one of the most powerful air transport tools in the world. The plane also owns 24 wheels for stability during landing and lift.
