Beijing for Trump-Xi Ying meeting: Bringing World Security and Stability Needed

China has described President Xi Jinping's meeting with US counterpart Donald Trump in Beijing as a historical “moment” for bilateral relations, saying the two leaders reached a new set of common consensus on the future of co-operation between the two countries.
In a statement published on the X platform, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said the two sides agreed on a new vision for building “a constructive strategic partnership of stability in China- US”, which said it would lead bilateral relations “in the next three years and beyond”.
According to Beijing, contacts between the two presidents “increased mutual understanding, deepened mutual confidence and promoted practical co-operation”.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry added that the “summit featured the world's long-awaited stability and security” at a time of increased geopolitical tension and uncertainty on the international stage.
At the same time, the two sides agreed to strengthen communication and co-ordination on international and regional issues, and to adequately address “issues with mutual concerns and differences, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry's statement. /Periscope/
