(a month ago)The Food and Veterinary Agency has appealed to citizens for the slaughter of offerings for the Kurban Bajrami holiday to be carried out only in the state-sponsored slaughterhouses, in order to protect public health and law enforcement.
According to AUV's announcement, the Kurban Bajrami holiday this year is marked on May 27th 2026, while slaughtering animals outside licensed objects constitutes legal violations and could endanger public health.
AUV has made it known that the list of approved slaughterhouses was published on Agency official page.
