Ardian Gjini officially assumes AAK chairmanship

Djind, who is also the candidate for prime minister from the AAK, has spoken to delegates at the AAK Electoral Assembly.

He has stressed that the AAK is not starting from the beginning, but from a base built over years of confidence and co-operation.

Brother and sister, I firmly believe that everything we're talking about today is attainable. We are not leaving the earth, but from an extraordinary building that we have built with you, chairman. We are moving from the confidence we have about Kosovo, from the beliefs we have built with hundreds of thousands of people in Kosovo. We are not starting from zero, and this gives us strength: we can, the Alliance can, Kosovo can. Kosovo has people, the Alliance has people”, he said.

Djindin added that the party slogan represents its political orientation and vision for the future.

“Energy, security and development is our slogan, with a Western cootation. But remember, pillars that make us feel good why we love America and Europe are important for Kosovo and should be strengthened more”, he said.

Ramush Haradinaj has resigned from the AAK leadership in February of this year.
