Alush Gashi, prominent Kosovo politician, dies

Alush Gashi was one of the early figures of the Democratic League of Kosovo and a close associate of former President Ibrahim Rugova.

He has also served as minister of health in Kosovo and was known as one of the founders of the LDK institutional structures during the years of '{0}'90s.

Gashi was active for decades in politics and public life, while considered one of the oldest voices of the Rugovist wing within the LDK. /Periscope
