Albania condemns Russian attack on Romania: It represents a serious and irresponsible escalation by the Russian Federation

MEPJ has expressed full solidarity with Romania's people and authorities and has wished the wounded a quick and complete recovery.

“This incident represents a serious and irresponsible escalation on the part of the Russian Federation and further highlights Russia's absurdity and human cost against Ukraine, the consequences of which continue to threaten the security and protection of civilians beyond the borders of Ukraine”, the statement said.

“Albania will continue to remain in full solidarity with our allies and partners, in support of co-ordinated efforts to end this war in defence of peace, security and fundamental principles of international law”, the statement follows.
