(2 months ago)Some 18 workers of the Trepca Mine, who had remained confined to the depths of the mine, have been successfully extracted after the power supply was cut off.
The miners had remained about 800m underground in the mining business unit with the Trepca Fleetion- Stan Targ, while the operation for their extraction was conducted by the responsible teams.
One of the persons engaged in the intervention, Bajram Rexhepi, said that despite the difficulties, the situation managed.
“800 meters of deep ash is difficult, but we are done with”, he said.
