From 2 million to 1 euro - That's how much money a political subject can use in the June 7th elections

The Central Election Commission has decided on political subjects how much money they can use in the June 7th elections for a voter, Periscope reports.
At the start of the meeting, The CEC made the decision to limit election campaign spending for political subjects, which will be certified for participation in the Kosovo Assembly Elections.
According to the CEC decision, a political subject has the right to spend up to 2.092,202 euros - a (1) euros for registered voters.
This estimate is done based on Electoral Order No. 07/2024 for the election campaign, monitoring and financial declaration, as well as relying on the data on the preliminary voter list, under which the number of voters in our country is 2,092,202.
Otherwise, the Central Election Commission (KQZ) has indicated that the period is continuing for reporting participation or non-participation in the election, as well as declaring election coalitions for early elections for the Kosovo Assembly, which will be held on June 7th 2026.
CEC spokesman Valmir Elezi has announced that the 7-day deadline has started on 1 May and will be completed 7 May 2026.
During this period, all political parties registered in the Republic of Kosovo are obliged to report the CEC, through the Office for Recording, Certificate and financial control of political subjects, regarding participation in elections, non-participation or forming coalitions.
According to the CEC, these obligations apply to 53 political parties registered in the country.
