11 years from US Embassy Stone in Kosovo

The American Embassy in Kosovo today recalled the throwing of the first stone to build the embassy's facility in Pristina 11 years ago.
In announcing this embassy, Kosovo reportedly has one of the most modern buildings of American embassies in the world and called this symbolic of a partnership between the two countries.
On this day, 11 years ago, the United States officially laid the groundwork for the new US Embassy complex in Pristina. Kosovo has one of the most modern and advanced buildings of American embassies in the world a symbol of diplomatic partnership and co-operation between our two countries, the embassy wrote.
She added that the innovative and safe design of the building involved many local workers and architects during the construction process.
