ZERE board examines consumer complaints, approves several decisions

In this session, the board has examined and approved the following documents: Electricity balance for 2026; The rule on financial compensation for restriction under supporting schemes; Rule of origin guarantees; 5-year-old plan to develop transmission network for 2026-2030; The 10-year plan for the development of the transmission network for the period 2026-35 and the report on competitiveness in the energy sector for 2024-2025.
The board has also reviewed the amendment to market rules and answers to comments in the HC “Wyman” monitoring report.
A review of the proposal for establishing the public service's obligation to supply universal service with whom this obligation has been assigned to KESCO for a period of 2 years, respectively, until 31 March 2026.
A review of the decision to determine the responsibilities of the renewable energy operator has also been made.
As for energy production from renewable energy sources, authorisation for legal subject has been approved LE COSOVO RENEWABLE ENERY JSC and 53 requests for obtaining authorization for self-consuming, 38 physical and 15 legal subjects, respectively, have been approved, with a total capacity of 2 MW.
