Today on April 24th, exactly 2 years and 7 months after the terrorist attack on Banjska, the decision will be announced for three indictees, Blagoje Spasojevic and Dusan Maksimovic.
Last week, case prosecutor Naim Abazi had sought life imprisonment against the three accused.
Tollic, Spasojevic and Maksimovic denied the charges they were charged with.
Until, in addition to them, Kosovo's Special Prosecutor on 11 September filed charges in absentia against 42 other people, among them also chief terrorist Milan Radojic, who has not been taken by justice bodies.
The prosecution had earlier sought trial in absentia even against other indictees, but was rejected as groundless by the Pristina Foundation Court.

What accusations weigh upon them?
On September 11th 2024, on the eve of an anniversary of the attack, the Special Prosecutor officially filed charges against 45 people, most of them in absentia.
They are charged that through the use of heavy-armed violence, they tried to break the northern part of the territory of the Republic of Kosovo and unite the Republic of Serbia.
Meanwhile, the self-declared leader of this structured terrorist group, Milan Radojic, is charged that from 2017 to September 24, 2023, he has provided an indirect income, converting that money into real estate and playful wealth, where some of its real estate has transferred it to third persons, with the aim of hiding or storing the source of wealth.
The 45 accused are charged with criminal acts “The chairmanship of terrorist activity”, “Heavy works against the constitutional order and security of the Republic of Kosovo”, “Reforstation and financing in carrying out terrorism” and “Money laundering”

From the September 2023 terrorist attack, 50-year-old police sergeant from Vushtrria, Afrem Bulnjaku, was also wounded by police official Alban Rashitti and injured in the Shaqiri, Mirsad Kryeziu of Sedat Dushi. Then there were three attackers left, while others had fled for several hours to the Biensca Monastery. Milan Radociq had claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack.
Serbia has yet to hand over Banjska's criminals, including chief terrorist Radojic, despite continued demands by local and international authorities.
