The oil supply is unaffordable for citizens

Citizens complain of the high price of oil, saying it is unaffordable for what urgent measures are required by the government.

The price to deal with each other has had to be mass... we're small and poor economically tired, that we can afford. It has damaged us that we're walking the daggers. We've let them go home.. more than in Kosovo, I know where it is in the”, one citizen said.

The government must take measures to damage us”, the other citizen said.

And another citizen says that as a result of his costing oil, his business is toward bankruptcy.

The price of oil in Kosovo did not drop even after the significant decline in world markets.

Unlike Kosovo, the price of oil again dropped from 2.29 euros yesterday to 2.19. While in northern Macedonia the price of oil continues to be 1.9 euros per litre.

According to Economy connoisseur Lulzim Beqiri, in Kosovo the situation with oil is being exploited by merchants while blaming the government for failing to interfere with fiscal measures.

“This is an abuse of ceiling prices deals, and this is extremely damaging to many citizens and humiliated institutions because they would have to take measures....”, Beqiri said, for Rtv21, broadcast Periscope.

While some of the countries in the region have taken relief measures for the price of oil, the Kosovo Government has said that reducing excise and tssh creates financial vacuum, causing the state budget 10m euros in losses per month.

But, Kosovo Business Alliance Chairman Agim Sahini in the RTV21 clink said the government has no courage to intervene in excises and tush, as he said opportunities exist.

The government if it makes such a statement has enough mechanisms to check if today it decides to remove the excise by the derivative then it takes the entire stock of companies that exist and starts with imports removing the excise... As for lowering the oil price, oil association already has warned that the market in Kosovo could stabilise in next week, depending on developments in the Middle East. /Periscope
