Montenegro's President Jakov Milatovic and EC President Antonio Costa have sent a joint invitation to leaders of EU countries and the Western Balkans.
Milatovic has named the summit extremely important for Montenegro.
Summit application:
June 4th: The solemn dinner for marking Montenegro's 20th anniversary of independence in the spirit of European co-operation.
June 5th: Two key sessions that will deal with the integration of the Western Balkans into the EU, the Development Plan, regional stability, connectivity and approach European standards.
The summit is expected to stress the importance of EU enlargement and strengthening political and economic co-operation between the countries of the region and the European Union.
