Authorities in Shengjin fought fire all night, including the Armed Forces, suspect in justice

A fire has engulfed a part of the mountain in Stryjani, where authorities had to fight the flames all night and the operation is still under way, according to a report by Albania's Defence Ministry.
The operation was supported by air intervention with the helicopter of the Armed Forces, which threw water out of the air.
“Under the co-ordination of the National Civil Protection Agency and the Ministry of Defence, the operation to put out fire in Shengjen continues in support of the Lezha municipality. Throughout the night, it has been worked without interruption of the flames, with the commitment of 7 fire vehicles from MZSH Lezha, Vau of the Sea, Shkodra, Mirday and Porty Shengjin. The operation has also included effective and water Autobots of Armed Forces, employees of the Forest Service, Lezha Public Services and Lezha Civil Emergencys. The operation is also being supported by air intervention with the Armed Forces helicopter. Thanks to the coordination of all structures, the intensity of the fire has been greatly reduced, and the work follows the complete isolation and extinction of active sites”.
The ministry said the alleged author of the arson has been identified and placed before legal responsibility by competent authorities.
“The Ministry of Defence and the National Civil Protection Agency urge citizens to show maximum responsibility, respect the measures to prevent fires, and immediately report to authorities on any hot hearth or suspicious case”.
