Argentina eliminates Cape Green

Argentina has long secured the transition to 1/8 of the World Cup finals, after defeating Cape Verde with a score of 3:2 only after the sequel. The world's current champion, although he was a great favourite, faced remarkable resistance from the African representative.
Lionel Messi crossed Argentina to the upper 1:0 in the 29th minute, achieving his 20th goal at the World Championships. He has become the first player to score in eight consecutive World Cup matches, while in this edition he has reached the quota of seven goals.
However, the advantage did not stop the Green Head footballers, who equated in the 59th minute with Deroy Hands. With a score of 1:1, regular time was completed, bringing the match forward.
Just two minutes after the start of its first sequel, Lisndro Martínez restored his advantage for Argentina, marking 2:1, after even providing assistance in the first goal.
But the African representative did not give up. Sydney Lopes Cabral made it up for 2:2 in the 103rd minute, turning the bar.
Argentina's victory was sealed in the 111th minute, when after a crossing of the Mess from the corner strike, Dimey Borges diverted the ball into his net. Initially, the goal was registered to Cristian Romeros, but was later identified as Borges' autogogue.
In the next few minutes, Cape Green had some good chances of getting even again, but he couldn't send the fight to the penalty.
This was considered one of this World's most spectacular and dramatic matches.
