In a media report by the prime minister's office, the meeting is said to have been held at the invitation of Eva Palatová, the EU chief's task officer in Kosovo.
“The discussion focused on the progress of Kosovo's EU integration process, progress in implementing the Reform Agreement within the Reform and Growth Instrument (RGF), as well as on the need for strengthening institutional co-ordination and ensuring sustainable implementation of reforms”, the report said.
Zulfaj has expressed thanks to the EU and member states for helping and contributing to Kosovo's development.
His key “Pokus will be advancing candidate status and opening negotiations as natural steps towards full membership in the European Union. Zulfaj reiterated that Kosovo's membership in the European Union is a joint effort. Kosovo is linked to EU foreign policy, shares common European values, leads in the region in the index of democratic advancement and has a high average economic development, so advancing towards EU membership is a natural and deserved step.”, the report says. /Periscope
