(an hour ago)United States President Donald Trump has arrived in Turkey to be part of the NATO summit, held in Ankara.
Trump's plane landed in the Turkish capital after a night flight from Washington.
This was the plane's first exit on a presidential trip abroad.
Trump is expected to welcome Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the airport before leaving for bilateral meetings at the presidential complex.
