Iran's chief negotiator in talks with the US, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibauff, has just said that “is not possible to reopen Hormuz' Ndus Strait taking into account all flagrant violations of the <x1) ceasefire, the BBC reported.
These “keling” include the US naval blockade of Iranian ports which he says constitutes taking “back to the global economy “and “inciting war” from Israel “on all fronts”.
Apparently referring to the US and Israel, Ghalibaf posts on X that “they failed to achieve their goals through military aggression, nor will they achieve through harassment.
The only way ahead is to recognize the rights of the Iranian people”.
It was thought Gahlibaf would hold talks with US Vice President JD Vance in Pakistan this week but they have not yet begun.
Donald Trump last night announced an extension of the US-Iran truce that was due to expire today. This morning, Iran said there were “kapur” two cargo ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
