Intensive Action Inspectorate: 31 inspections, 13 bans and 28 Measures for Improvement in 48 Hours

This 48-hour report by the Central Labour Inspectorate presents the results of eighth day inspections conducted under this action, meanwhile, the focus of inspection has been the construction sector.
According to the 48-hour report, a total of 31 inspections and 44 reviews have been realised, resulting in a significant number of punitive and prevention measures against subjects that have not observed legislation in force.
The data shows that during this period 13 measures of ban have been imposed, while in 12 cases permission has been given for continued activity after meeting the legal conditions on the part of the surveyed subjects.
Likewise, inspectors have given 10 remarks and in 12 cases no violations have been recorded, reflecting a different level of compatibility in different sectors.
One of the main indicators of the action is the number of measures to eliminate irregularities, reaching 28 cases, testifying to the need for concrete interventions in improving working conditions and respecting safety standards.
As for distribution according to municipalities, Gjakova leads with 10 inspections and 7 reviews, while Mitrovica marks the high number of interventions with 7 inspections and 9 resuspects, as well as four construction bans.
Gjilan has recorded 2 inspections and 9 reviews, with 4 work permits and 4 measures to eliminate irregularities. Meanwhile, in Lipjan there are 5 measures for irregularities to be eliminated, while in Drenas that number amounts to the highest among the municipalities involved in the report.
Authorities have warned that such shares will continue in the coming days, with the aim of increasing legal discipline and preventing violations in Kosovo's labour market.
