Parliament Speaker Albulen Haxhiu during Monday has authorised sending the Kosovo Security Force to international peacekeeping operation as part of the International Stabilisation Force in Gaza, following parliament's approval.
Through a Facebook post, Haxhiu said this decision reflects a Kosovo that understands security as obligation to its citizens and as responsibility for peace and international order.
From a country that once needed support for others, Kosovo today takes responsibility and contributes to the international stage. The Kosovo Security Force is an institution built with high professionalism and standards, ready to serve alongside our strategic partners. Participation in such missions testifies to the state maturity of our Republic and to the country that Kosovo is strengthening every day in the” international arena, the chief hub has written.
