(an hour ago)Unhappily milk farmers in Kosovo have requested an emergency meeting with the Ministry of Agriculture, as well as all acters indiscriminately, following the ban on collecting milk now and four days, preceded by the provisional closure of milk “Vita”.
One of the farmers said that if their demands and the meeting are not realised, according to him, protests like today will be present on the streets of the country.
From this moment on, we are urgently looking to the minister, working groups, all acting indiscriminately, to get together and hold a meeting and solve this issue urgently, otherwise such scenes, regardless of our wishes, can be seen every day on the street”, one of the farmers said.
Besides, this farmer said that he should not be played with the dignity of local producers.
“Loops are not brothers. We cannot stop today from producing and waiting until the right time. Most of these farmers, whom you see on these agricultural vehicles, are immersed in loans they have to pay. Don't play with their dignity. We urgently request meeting and resolving this problem once and for all, why not stretch out our hand to this minister, that minister or minister”, he said.
