Alliance for the Future of Kosovo Chairman Ramush Haradinaj has stayed in Meja on the 27th anniversary of the massacre, where 376 Albanians were killed and massacred by Serb forces.
Through a Facebook post, Haradinaj says that on April 27, 1999, Serbian forces committed one of the largest massacres in Kosovo, cruelly executing innocent Albanian brothers and sisters, both religious beliefs.
He adds that many of them remain undiscovered even today, while he says that the wounds of war do not close without the enlightenment of their fate.
“Today, when Kosovo marks the Day of the Undead, we honoured the memory of the martyrs of the Meya massacre and the martyrs and martyrs of Skivjan and the martyrs of Krelep. On the anniversary of the fall of my fellow fighters, Edmond Dabiqaj, Sadri Latifaj and Haxhi Tolaj, we honor today the village's contribution to the Liberation War, Martyr's Witnesses who gave freedom to”.
