The Guardian: Europe risks new impact with Trump due to US gas pipeline in Bosnia

Disagreements for Ukraine and the Iran war appear to be followed by a European Union effort to prevent a gas pipeline project planned to be realised in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is owned by Trump's personal lawyer.

Connecting Bosnia to a liquid natural gas terminal near the Croatian coast, the pipeline would allow American gas to reach a country that depends on Russia for all its supply.

After Russian President Vladimir Putin began the total invasion of Ukraine from Russia in 2022, Brussels set a deadline for EU members and aspiring members, like Bosnia, to stop buying Russian gas by 2028.
