More than ever in the 10th legislature, new elections are now being seen on the horizon.
If a consensus is not reached for the president, the election dates are already known.
In the event there is no involvement of the Constitution with any substance, there are two dates -- June 7th and May 31st -- as the only constitutional dates”, the Kosovo Democratic Institute has declared Eugen Cakoli.
But whatever the date, something is certainly known: some of the commissioners who counted votes in the last elections, now the new potential elections, are likely to wait in custody. This precedent is expected to have little influence, on public perception.
“With what happened in the last elections, normally reflected in the sense of participation, but also the attention of the counting process, which in the last elections, produced hundreds/ thousand preferential votes differential”, stated Eugen Calcoli, the Kosovo Democratic Institute.
The evental elections can be avoided unless the president or president of the Republic of Kosovo is elected until 28 April. /Dukagini
