During a panel discussion at the Diaspora Summit in Tirana, attended by the top diplomats of Kosovo and Albania, Ahmeti said that Albanian “should be a god to all”.
“As far as the Albanian language is concerned in Macedonia, it is a real danger that I think we have to master the whole language that we all speak, he said.
Ahmeti said that the Albanian <x0judge in Macedonia, with international agreements signed and guaranteed by the United States of America with guarantors to George Bush's envoy, then president of”.
He said the guarantor of that agreement is also NATO.
Ahmeti said it is common to protect the August 2001 Ohrid Agreement that ended the war in northern Macedonia. That agreement provided, among other things, that Albanian become an official language and the participation of Albanians in government institutions, police and army.
“We have common responsibility: Washington, Brussels, NATO, Albanian political forces, Macedonian political forces. Macedonia has a future in co-existence, only in co-ordination with Albanians. Without Albanians, Macedonia cannot survive and days are numbered”, Ahmeti said.
