Terras encourages Kurti for functional coalition, election of president

European Parliament rapporteur for Kosovo Riho Terras has called on incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti to commit to building a functional coalition and to ensure the president's election.
“E encourage Prime Minister Kurti to show manhood to build a functional coalition and ensure the election of President”, he wrote in a post on the X platform, following meetings held in Kosovo.
Kosovo needs stable institutions to advance the path towards the EU”, he added.
The European Parliament's rapporteur for Kosovo, Riho Terras, has stayed on Tuesday in Kosovo, where he met with the leader of the president's office, Albulen Haxhiu, incumbent Foreign Affairs Minister Glauk Konjufca, Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Bedri Hamza, Democratic League of Kosovo Chairman Lumir Abdijdzic, and Alliance for the Future of Kosovo Chairman Ardian Gjini.
In another X post, Terras has indicated that during the meetings he has discussed politics in Kosovo and European Union enlargement, where he has stressed that Kosovo's future lies in the EU.
This morning I met Albulen Haxhiu, Glauk Konjufca and Bedri Hamza. We discussed politics in Kosovo and European Union enlargement. Kosovo's future lies in the European Union, but membership requires reforms. We're working on this”, he wrote Terras. /Periscope/
