Tirana police said those arrested are manager of the palace complex, the engineer who had led the works for his construction, as well as the subject manager who has done the work for the palace facade.
All three are accused of violating the protection rules at work, a day after the fire swept over the 12-story building, as a result of which 11 people were injured.
Meanwhile, the fourth detainee is the manager of a shop on the first floor of the fire-affected building, which is accused of destroying property out of carelessness and of violating the protection regulations at work.
Police stressed that they are being investigated for four more people, including the owner of the palace complex and the two employees of the commercial subject, from which the entire building was fired, reports REL, broadcast. Periscope
The first investigation has shown that in the back of the store, the burning of fire started in a garbage dump.
Police say the store manager had not taken measures to remove waste.
The residential complex manager, however, is suspected of failing to carry out the necessary actions for controlling the functionality of protective measures for fire and rescue.
Police explain that 11 people, including firemen and residents of the building, were injured by the fire, who continue to receive hospital treatment.
Meanwhile, authorities are making calculations to determine the material damage caused by fire.
The country's prime minister, Edi Rama, said Wednesday that the burnt building would be rebuilt “100 per cent by the builder himself”, despite preliminary data showing that the cause of the fire has no connection with construction.
“We cannot leave only people damaged on their property, and on the other hand, taxpayers cannot pay for a loss that needs to be covered by security a clear case for all to understand that providing homes against disasters is absolutely essential”, the prime minister said.
The fire that began about 5: 00 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon was brought under control about three hours later, according to authorities.
The palace facade was completely burned to the 12th floor, and despite the rapid intervention of fire fires, it penetrated into the apartment. /Periscope
